I am an artist from Moscow, Russia. A Pediatric Neurologist by training, I always loved to draw and take photographs as a hobby. With time, my passion for painting and photography grew into my second career. After I stopped practicing medicine ten years ago, I attended watercolor painting classes at the Natalia Baccury private Art School for a year, followed by another 3 years of formal art education at the Watercolor’s School of Sergey Andriyaka and Academy of Photography in Moscow. Since 2003, I have participated in various exhibitions in Russia, my primary focus was watercolor painting and since 2005, I have been exhibiting as a photographer. After moving into Connecticut in 2007, my main focus has been abstractions with surrealistic accents which I call "Glass in Motion”. I love abstraction. I love to experiment with color. When the color harmonizes with the shape obtained some amazing things. I prefer living and moving forms, so the composition usually has its own rhythm. Abstract Painting makes it possible to go beyond reality to express themselves, their perceptions of the world. I use mixed techniques - a merger of photography of stained glass and drawing. My art has evolved over the years; I have experimented with multiple media: Metal Photo Paper, Canvas, Aluminum, and Plexiglas. My experimental journey has lead me to using new technologies which provide glossy shine and longevity to my artwork. Currently, my works are in private collections in England, Brazil, Canada, Russia, USA, including the collection of George Soros.
